This November 11 of the agencies from the SuperGrans SuperSkills Network met for two days of learning and lifting one another up at our 2025 Network Conference held in Feilding! We had a wonderful few days in the Manuwatū district and cannot thank Joanne Baird, her family and the team at Manuwatū SuperGrans more for their wonderful hospitality.
Across the two days we had a jam-packed agenda with many sessions from our talented in-house speakers these topics including Communication & Collaboration, HR, Empowering Volunteers, Adult Education just to name a few! Our Guest speaker Dr Sam Gardyne joined on day one discussing the vital Sustainable Development Goals and discussed where SuperGrans fit in.
Renee Hanna from Good Neighbour in Tauranga joined us on day two, sharing some impactful and inspiring words on their important mahi and it was fabulous to hear their specific examples of making a difference in the community.
Thank you to everyone who attended this year! It is beyond valuable reconnecting with the familiar faces off screen, hearing about each agency's wins and the challenges that aren't always visible! Learning about real stories of change within whānau throughout the country is inspirational and we can't wait to do it all over again next year, perhaps in the South Island!
