About Us
SuperGrans SuperSkills was first established in 1994 in Lower Hutt by Erin McMenamin. At the time Erin was volunteering for the local foodbank where she noticed people removing items from their food parcels. When she asked why she was told that they did not know how to cook the items so did not want to take them. Erin was concerned that half of the food parcel was being returned and wanted to help communities through teaching and encouraging them to learn new skills. And so, the concept of SuperGrans SuperSkills was born.
